the rock star

doing his real job as a customer service representative, I mean, publishing manager. He's also the sound man at our church and an expert on movies and ROCK music (he knows his blues and R & B too, but don't ask him about new country)

the nanny

This pic is old but I haven't asked for her permission to post any newer. She's 26 now. Tried teaching for a year and hated it. Became a professional tutor, and loves it. She's also a part-time nanny and house- and pet-sitter. Let me know if you need her services in the Nashville area...

the apprentices

Our son is now 23 and this is his lovely and lovable fiancee. He is working on his mechanical engineering degree and she is a student nurse.

The Yin and Yang of Cats

The black cat is Ivy, born approximately Oct. 1, 2014; her orange "sister" is Josie, born approximately Aug. 15, 2014. They came to live with us in December, 2014 and after a year or so, they decided to accept us into their circle. Aptly named Ivy is a climber and enjoys tearing things up. Jojo likes to "talk" and snuggle when she is sleepy. They are best buddies.

Atticus, who lived with us from 2006 - 2012, when he ran away, grew to be much bigger than Smokey, who was at least 13 when he died in 2007.

the late great Bonnie

full name: Charlotte LaBonnie Blue Logan Bush. Bonnie enjoyed food more than any other creature God put on this earth. She was proof that for beagles, death precedes anorexia. RIP! 1999? - 1/21/12. She was also protective of "her" cats and didn't care much for other cats.
